the END of the WESTERN WORLD is a short documentary about the people on the boardwalk and beach in Venice, California. Venice Beach is an old artist community and the boardwalk has always been a center of entertaining attractions. We look behind the scenes, get to know the artists, tarot-readers, skate-dancers, counselors and vendors, everybody is so unique and contributes to the special Venice-Atmosphere. There is Bobby, the Sex and Relationship counselour, Lisa the Skate-dancer, Larry the sculptor to name a few. They all have their idea of peace, love and happiness in common, they worship tolerance and freedom. That freedom however seems to diminish, everything gets more and more controlled, the end of freedom, the end of the western world?
